After a while I have learn the subtle difference between holding a hand and chaining a soul. I've learned that love doesn't mean leaning and company doesn't mean security. I have begun to learn that kisses aren't contracts and presents aren't promises. I have begun to accept my defeats with my head up and my eyes ahead with the boldness of a man and not the grief of a child. I am learning to build all my roads on today because tomorrow's ground is too uncertain for plans. And futures have a way of falling down in mid-flight. I have learned that I really can endure, that I really can be strong and I really am worth something. And I learn and continue to learn. With every good-bye I learn!
