I'm a 40 yr old (wow that # looks big:0) happily married woman. I have 2 beautiful girls and a son. I am a very proud Grandma of 3month old Hunter,he is my best buddy, and a dream come true!Hubby & I are Housing Supervisors at an Drug & Alcohol Free Apt. Complex. My recovery comes first in my life. I don't temp it and I don't let ANYBODY mess with it.

I love the fact that people trust me now. I can look anybody in the eyes now and talk to them.

DISLIKES
I can't stand it when I'm told that Relapse is part of my recovery.

Hi Kim and thanks for stopping by. You have not written a blog since September and i was worrying about you and your dad and hoped things are good with you. Just noticed your dislikes and in all the years i have been clean i have never found the language to describe the slip i had. truthfully it was a desire to use again but today i know better than hurt myself more as a reaction to getting hurt unjustly. I would never discuss slips willy nilly as the word Fatal rings true in my experience and i have been to far too many funerals. Keeping safe is the key and a good support structure of decent human beings who do not enjoy hurting anyone. Be safe my friend and good luck in the new year. Lem
