I am overcoming a miserable addiction to opiates and benzo's with the help of NA and my support group. I want to be a profiler "when I grow up". I am very eclectic in my taste. My family calls me an artist. I'm outgoing and easy to get along with.
I have many things I need to work on to improve myself! I'm learning how to be a friend and have them as well. I'm learning how to express my feelings and how to reach-out instead of isolate. I'm learning how to put myself first...very hard for me but it's getting a little easier.
I am simply learning how to live...learning how to get through bad times and thoroughly enjoy good ones!

A Sneak Peak Inside My Head:
I absolutely love thunder and lightning! I'd sit and listen to it for hours if I could. I love the dark clouds as it's getting ready to storm and I feel so at peace when it's just pouring outside! Salvador Dali is my absolute favorite artist! His mind seems just as sick as mine. It's great! I think the feeling in this picture speaks for itself. This one says alot. Look close and you'll see. One out of the many things I get from this piece is the mulitple faces and underlying secrets. I wrote the poem below to best explain a piece of me... Together I walk alone. Crowded I sit in an empty room. Screaming I speak in silence.
Laughing I cry.
Defending I run.
Smiling I hurt.
As sun shines I lay in a puddle.
Through soft sand I step on glass.
Beneath the ocean I swim in flames.
Lost, Hopeless, Empty, Hurt.

I love movies! Some of my favorites are:
Labrynth, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Saw (all 4 of them), Lock Stock & 2 Smoking Barrels, The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Star Wars, Fried Green Tomatos, Outbreak, Constantine...I could go on and on! I like all kinds of movies!
HOBBIES
I collect postcards and turtle nicnacs as well as coins..$2 bills. I have a collection of Garbage Pail Kids Cards (anyone remember those!) I love to laugh and have fun!!
