Addiction

Grew up on the east coast and hated it. Started drinking at 13, smoking pot in high school, graduated to bigger and badder things after my divorce at age 21. Sex, drugs and rock & roll! Had lots of great adventures, travelled around the country, been to every state, lived in Alaska for 20 years. Got clean and sober in Alaska so it was very easy to get in touch with my Higher Power, now known as my God Buddy.
I'm grateful for each day without alcohol and other drugs. Sobriety allowed me to know real friendships -- with others and finally with myself. amazing!
