I am a very educated person, I have many interests, I read a lot and am always trying to learn more. I love to write, and someday would like to get something published. I have 6 years sobriety and am very proud of that. I take my program very serious, and would be nothing to jepordize my sobriety or anyone else's. I am looking to meet serious people in recovery on this site.I started drinking when I was 12 years old I also left home at this time Every kind of abuse you can think of happened I took my father grandfather and brother to court for sexual abuse. After the trial I was taken out of my home.I have been in a number of foster homes. My drinking and drug use progressed along with my place ments first it was foster homes then a few group homes then the streets sleeping in dumpsters detention homes institutions, jails I have been in every state mental hospital in northeastern ohio. Then prison but I still did not stop. I dranked and druged in most of these places if I could.I have been in tratment. What finally made me stop is I had lost my soul myself.I could not take the hospitals and other places anymore I could not take the memories of what I had done and the thought of what I had become. I could not even kill myselfI wanted 2 things when I came to a.a. I wanted the pain to stop and I wanted to be a lady I did not know how to accomplish either one but today I do god and a.a.

I love to read, and black and white movies, western movies, fishing, Jazz, Books on tape/c.d's.

Liers, Cheats, and Theieves, and People who want to hurt me, my friends, and family. And I hate the disease of alcoholism and what it does to people.

We’ve begun to see that God’s will for us is the ability to live with dignity, to love ourselves and others, to laugh, and to find great joy and beauty in our surroundings.
