i like sci fi books, edgar rice burroughs, douglas adams, terry pratchett, larry niven, greg bear, tad williams, orson scott card. some of my favorite books are eon, eternity, dune, forge of god, anvil of eternity, moving mars, slant, ender's game, war of the flowers, otherland, ringworld, children of the matrix, the biggest secret, fairytale, chessmen of mars, she, allan quartermain and the lost city of gold, the book of three, conversations with god, the hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy trilogy (all 5 of them), all of the discworld books, the cat who series, any sherlock holmes story, some comix i'm into are the authority, the preacher series, daredevil, batman, and jla.

lots of great movies, dead poets society, shawshank redemption, waking life, logan's run, what the bleep do we know, clerks, half baked, battle royale, animal crackers, duck soup, yellowbeard, all the christopher guest films (best in show is my fav though), the wes anderson films, royal tanenbaums, rushmore and of course the life aquatic, free enterprise, star trek nemisis, dune, invaders from mars, morons from outer space, life of brian, eulogy, sideways, batman begins, rollerball, oh and anything MST3K.
