Addiction

i am 26. 5'7, i change my hair color alot, but normal cool,colors. i'm a cosmotologist. i went to rehab in ct. for 3 months in march '06. did me good, i needed it and was finally ready. i never thought life like this was possible.....its not easy, but possible and i enjoy living this way now. i've met some amazing people on this journey and am lucky to still have them in my life. i think i'm beautiful - and i am comfortable saying that because i'm not conceeded at all - just confident. i love having fun. i'm very personable, outgoing. a lil' crazy, but in a good way. love friends, love family, love life. i really enjoy laughing - drama makes me sick to my stomach and would like to puke it all up apon who ever may bring it. is that gross? anyhoo - back to me.....i grew up in a really small town and did nothing but party - thank my h.p those days are gone and thank my h.p that i am still alive. but i do think i am alive for a reason - theres got to be a reason, for everything. and i don't regret any of my old ways - if i did, or if i could change that - i wouldn't be who i am now. i have 2 big brothers, i'm the baby and the only girl - so that makes it even better. :P i have a large (extended) family and love to get together and spend time with them all. i recently lost my favorite grampy who had about 30+ years sober. it was hard, test of faith for me - but thankfully he saw me get clean and get my sh*t together. i have his 25yr. chip from AA and am honored to have it. i have a baby named bruce. he's a long-haired daschund and is the love of my life. he follows me everywhere and brings me sooooo much joy, and laughter. i drive a black jeep. i love driving trucks/suvs while wearing my red sling-back pumps. thats me :) in the winter i snowboard - alot. in the summer i go to the beach and get nice n' tanned. i live about 10 minutes from the beach, so it works out pretty good. i have 8 random tattoos. 7 piercings. all small - cute stuff. everything i have (piericings/tats) have some meaning, story behind them. i love it. i am moving back to connecticut very soon. my network id out there and that is where this new life began for me, and in some way feel i owe myself to it. my rehab friends all stayed in that area and i miss them. so - i'm pretty excited. bruce will be coming w/ me so that makes me feel even better about the whole situation. hmmm, what else? idk - but please, feel free to ask away :)
