I had my last drink nearly 2 years ago! Thank God!..After 4 days in hospital drying out, i went to a AA meeting up the road from me & didn't stop for a year...Sponsorship, 12 steps & lots of service and I'm still sober for the longest time in my life.
It hasn't been all plain sailing, by a long shot, but I'm loving it!!Consistence, over come resistance and go with where the journey takes you!

I
drank
from
an
early
age,
grew
up
in
pubs
and
clubs
that
my
Mum
and
Dad
used
own
or
manage.
There
was
allotting
of
drinking,
fighting
and
watching
my
Dad
getting
pissed.
Although
it
wasn't
good for
me
to
watch,
I
was
a
kid
and
