Father, Husband, Physician. I started using prescription pain medication late in life because of headaches. One of the medications I took causes seizures in high doses. After one such episode in the grocery store in front of my kids I decided enough was enough. I became clean on April 30th, 2007 and entered a 28 day rehab. I have grown to realize that my addiction was a blessing and not a curse. Although it's been a rough road I am closer to God and my family than I have ever been.
