Addiction

I am a new mum with 8 month old son Jack who is the joy of my life. I live with his dad, Tom, who is also a recovering alcoholic and drud addict. Since joining AA two and half years ago I have mostly been sober but this year has seen my slipping a lot so I now have a sponsor and have started working the programme which is really helping. I live on an island called Orkney off the north coast of Scotland so the choice of meetings is limited but I do attend two a week and have recently started a women's meeting.
I am taking it one day at a time and gradually seeing more positives coming into my life.
