L.A. guns, Ratt, QuietRiot, W.A.S.P., Warrant, Poison, Great White. They don't have to be from L.A. Just have big hair and look like girls LOL. I played in EnuffZ'nuff.

I was in one of "those bands" back then.It was a crazy time.Alot of fun,way too much fun sometimes. We had everything we wanted, including lots of money, and at times too much down time,The combination back then often proved dangerous.I hate when the press calls all the bands from back then "hair bands",insinuating that it was all about the image.I know alot of those bands back then did make it on a contrived look and very little talent, with generic, watered down crap for music.BUT,not everyone from back then was like that.I know I was a music major in college, and went to Berklee college of music in Boston....By the way Certain Death.I probably know you,I was in a band with Vikk Foxx, still see him all the time and still get up and jam with him here in L.A.,,,also just did a tour of Europe last year and had Enuff z Nuff and Bullet Boys out with us. good to see you doing well and staying sober!!  all the best,Thunderbird

I played for EnuffZ' Nuff based in Chicago. I still love Warrant, Tesla, Poison, Quiet Riot, Van Halen, G,n.R. & all that 80s hair metal. I still play drums. I recently build a sound proof studio in my garage. You can't stop Rock n Roll!

Ratt was my favorite out of LA, but Cinderella was my favorite. I don't like refering to any of them as 'glam' or hair bands. As for Van Halen, it would have to be with David. they just weren't the same with Sammy.
