Addiction Tribe

I am currently in my senior year of high school and in my english class, British literature, we are to write a paper on truth. One section of this paper is to be written on what is considered to be popular truth and in order to help us with this section, we are to survey a chosen demographic. I chose to survey people who are currently battling/suffering from an addiction and people who have been able to overcome an addiction. I feel rude asking this but if you possibly know of anyone who would fall under these demographics, do you think that they would be willing to fill out a survey for me? It would be very generous of you it you are able to help me in any way. I am also sorry if this takes offense to anyone. That was not and is not my intention.
