Hi. My name is Sue and I am an alcoholic. I am married and have four children. My life is a mess. My beautiful 13 yr old (that is her in the pics) had my husband arrested in Sept and life hasn't been the same since. I do not blame her for having him arrested, in fact I thank her. She enabled me and my husband to take a look at our lifes and see that we were not headed in a very good direction. Both of us are sober and working our prograns. The kids were taken away from me because i let my husband into the house when an order of protection was in place. Insanity, old behaviors took over. I knew it was wrong but was putting his sobriety before mine. My 24 yr old daughter has custody of the kids right now. I will be forever grateful to her for doing this but it is not easy for her. All my children are in deep need of counseling but two months of trying has only got my son placed as of now. I look forward to the day that everyone can come home and we can be a family again. for now, I keep working the program and take it One Day at a Time.
