I'm 26 years old, I live in Tampa, Fl. I was raised in Brandon, Fl. till I was 14, then I moved to M'boro Tn. I went to High school in M'boro at Riverdale High. I moved back to Brandon in 2001. I worked at Home Depot for 3 yrs, and went to college for computer office technology and applications. I like to live life to the fullest and get the most out of anything. I've tried everything I could imagine, and came to find out I had the disease of addiction. I'm currently in recovery with over 20 months clean from alcohol and drugs as of 1/18/07. I work in Humana filing insurance, anuities, and life insurance. I was a house manager for the house of restoration. I helped girls new in recovery get their life on track. After a year of trying to work on myself and other in the house I took the big step and got my own town house. Now I am currently faithfully taking the time to work on my self. God has truely done for me what I can't do for myself, for that I am thankful. I have accomplished alot in my life, learned alot along the way. Since being in recovery I have learned more about loving my self, respecting others, and handling situations in life with a totally different perspective. I am so happy where I am at today and I wouldnt take back anything I have done, because I wouldn't be where I am today and know all that I have learned in 23 months.

I like meeting new people in recovery, going dancing, singing like I can, walking on the beach, listening to other peoples story and walks of life, play with my cats.

I can't say I hate anything more than being the person I was before I came in recovery. I have some dislike but not many. My cheese gets moved when others mess with my radio in my car to listen to whatever they want without asking or when people talk on thei phone for long periods of time while riding in the car.

I enjoy writing poetry, going to the beach, tanning, shopping, movies, theme parks, playing cards,eating at Carrabbas, starbuck- sugar free vanilla ice latte with 5 splenda and whip, visiting friends out of state, cruises, camping out, boating, jetski's, helping people in recovery.

Talk
about
humbling.

had
been
using
for
a
yr

and
I
wanted
to
die,
I
didn't
care
and
I
just
didnt
want
to feel.
Today
I
start
a
6
month
outpatient
