Hi, My name is Leandra. I have been on this journey with the help of the Narcotics Anonymous fellowship for 11 years now. Last year I attended the World convention of Narcotics Anonymous in San Antonio, Texas. It was the most AWESOME experience of my life. My recovery is my life. I have three children, Jason, Lisa, and Chris, two step-daughters I never met Amber and Jessica. Another step daughter from a previos marriage, Jess and I love them all. I also have grandkids who mean the world to me. Since i have came into recovery I have went through a divorce from the love of my life, remarried, lost a job, and several friends, yet i remain clean NO MATTER WHAT! This year has been the hardest on me. My oldest son Jason passed away on the 4th of July, 2008 from this disease, My ex-husband passed away on Sept. 12th from lung cancer and my friend passed away on thew 14th from heart trouble, but I choose to stay clean today for without my recovery I will have nothing. I miss my son so much and my friends so much, yet I can continue walking through the pain with the help of the fellowship. Thank you Narcotics Anonymous for another day clean!
I like alot of things. Especially anything recovery related. Making new friends, campouts, conventions, spending time with my son, daughter, grandkids and family. I love dogs, I have five. I love to read. Spirituality, Native American stuff
