I am an addict from Georgia. My using took me to the streets of HELL and I know that if I use again, that I will return there. In recovery I have found out that I have a choice. I don't have to use again. I have found a new way to live without the use of drugs. Today I spend my time going to meetings and being of service. I am learning to live by spiritual principles. I have a job, a place to live(not made of cardboard), food to eat and a few dollars in my pocket. I have developed a relationship with the principles of integrity and responsibility.
I enjoy the outdoors - camping, hiking, nature walks, and I am learning about meditation through drumming. I can feel my spirit when I am outdoors. I feel I have a connection out there.(may have come from being homeless)lol
