Addiction

I am a proud mother of 3 wonderful children, 2 teenagers and a 21 year old. They are my life. I have become a service junkie according to some people in the program. I do alot of service but I feel that is what keeps me accountable. I chair a meeting on Mondays, I just helped start a naranon meeting here in our area since there is not one for about a hundred miles and I take a meeting into the county jail. The naranon I will have to step back from when it gets going but I will be very proud to have started it. Being clean is the best thing that has ever happened in my life. I can honestly say that I am happy with who I am and what I am doing in my life today. I had quite a struggle, as we addicts do, in my past. I just got my children out of foster care, they were there for a year and a half. I needed that time to get my life together due to what the old habits did to me, or what I let them do to me. I have more spirituality than I ever have and am not afraid to pray when we go out to dinner. I have ran into some people who dont understand that, but my higher power is with me where ever I go and what ever I do. I feel that the conversations we have make our relationship even stronger, which makes me stronger to face life on lifes terms.

I really despise people who tell you only what they think you want to hear. I hate mushrooms, any kind, yes, even morels.

I love just about any kind of music except for rap, not a real big fan of that. Although there are a few songs my kids have introduced me to that I like, not very many though.
