i am 33 married mother of 3 wonderful children. work in mental health and also as a cna. i love helping people. it seems that i spend more time helping everyone else and seem to put myself last. ive been using for about 3 years. im a work in progress.

We cannot do this without the help of God. I pray all the time. I am the guest speaker at a meeting on Monday at the treatment center that holds about 50 residents and about 50 people from the outside come in. I am really looking forward to carrying the message. I am hear to F$#k up your using. that is the job God has given me to do. Yes I have compassion for anybody trying to better their lives. but i shoot straight from the hip. I do not BS and i really do true sugar coat anything. I grew up in recovery at the age of 34. I have a hard ass sponsor who is an old Biker. He is slowly dying right now. he could go any day now. so it is really a hard time for me to go through. but he always tell's me JJ, get out of God's way and let him work in your life. So I do that. God brought us to Hawaii and gave my wife a very high paying job, i have found a buddy to play the guitar with everyday. My Serenity and Spirituality is at an all time high. My story has truly never been told completely on this site because most people would say BS. but i am a very honest person and i do not lie about my past. it cost me 2 years in prison 33 years ago. but that my friend is another story....I did not put it in my profile for a reason....I hope we can work out things together and i can help you. just Remember that Recovery is a Journey not a Destination and use the rest stops God provides along the way.
