Addiction

I drank too much , too often, for too long. the chaos started at eleven and ended at 32 (with about ten years of on and off( mostly off ) dry time.On St.Patrick's Day 1996( it was god's choice not mine) I was given the gift of sobriety.
the last twelve years have been great journey. I've made mistakes (that's what happens when "boy meets girl" on AA campus) I've gone through physical and emotional pain. but I've come out the other side better for it (god always as a plan for me If i choice to follow it)

long drives to new places, walking around Manhattan. MMA, vacations in Vegas( and yes you can do it sober)long train rides(a great place to read a book) films , any kind of film. nascar on sundays. a meeting I've never been to.

I love all movies. anything from really depressing Russian flicks to chick flicks (I love city of angles)
