I
told
my
mom
a
year
ago
I
have
a
drinking
problem.
And
yet
she
still
offers
alcohol
everytime
I
go
over
there.
That
makes
me
feel
like
she
either
isn't
listening
or
isn't
taking
it
seriously
like
she
should.
My
dad
does
the
same
thing.
To
me
and
my
younger
sister....she's
an
alcoholic
and
i'm
an
addict(in
which
alcohol
is
included).
My
dad
is
an
alcoholic
and
my
mom
died
3
years
ago
at
the
age
of
50
from
alcoholism....literally
drank
herself
to
death.
Is
your
mom
an
alcoholic?
If
not
maybe
she
just
doesnt
"get"
it.
Can
you
get
real
REAL
honest
w/
her?
Like
tell
her
what
happens
to
you
when
you
drink.....
tell
her
some
of
the
things
you've
done
while
drinking
or
places
it
has
led
you?
Is
there
some
way
to
make
it
"real"
to
her?
Maybe
she
just
cant
wrap
her
brain
around
the
fact
that
her
baby
girl
has
a
problem.
I
dunno.
Hang
in
there.
Just
keep
your
boundaries. Not
that
this
is
the
way
to
do
it,
but
it
was
the
only
way
i
knew
how
at
the
time.....
I
stopped
talking
to
my
dad
and
stopped
seeing
him....
but
that
was
because
he
was
always
drunk
and
i
HATED
who
he
was
when
he
drank.
Could
you
tell
your
mom
that
she
needs
to
stop
offering
you
alcohol,
and
if
she
doesnt
then
you
cant
come
over?
Just
some
thoughts.
Hang
in
there!
