I am a recovering alcoholic. AA helped in saving my life. My Higher Power is Jesus Christ. I am not a perfect saint. I do not believe there is. But I do claim growth in my daily Christian walk. I stay in contact with a few AA friends that help me alot. I know that in my own power; I cannot stay sober. I am an ex-pro musician that started out playing in some of the the nicest night clubs and lounges a musician would want to. 12 years later, I was playing in the nastiest old bars around just for free drinks only. Then came the hospitals and detoxes.......Praise God for sobriety!!!!

Sobriety! Being with nature by hiking, camping, photography, snorkeling, collecting old LP records, woodworking, playing guitar and banjo, antique radios, shortwave radio, bicycle riding....I'm listing hobbies. But I do like my hobbies, so I guess they fit into "likes" catagory.....I'm complicating things again! Lol.

Most any kind of music performed well. Alot of the 80's pop, rock, and metal. A few of the guitar and banjo players I like to listen to is: Eric Johnson, Eddie Van Halen, Jerry Reed, Brad Paisley, Steve Via, Chet Atkins, and Bella Fleck. Van Halen (with Sammy Hagar) is my all time favorite band. Third Day is my favorite Christian band.

The Holy Bible, anything that helps me to become a better person, all of Og Mandino's books; most anything spiritual and Biblical. Ok; so I still read the older Marvel comic books also.

Playing guitar and banjo, reading, internet, laughing (there was a time when I thought that I would never laugh again), collecting old records.
