Addiction

I am Northern born but Southern bred. I am Lakota Indian by 2 generations. I lived in so much fear all my life I couldn't recognize what it was until I came into the rooms. Being sober has changed my life completely and only through the Twelve Steps and Traditions have I learned to do that. The Fellowship has created in me a feeling that is amazing. I am like a sponge trying to soak up everything at once but it will all come in God's time. Patience, love and tolerance is my practice today. I have learned that AA cannot get me into the gates of Heaven but it has released me from the gates of Hell!
