Army Vet. Been drinking all of my life and I mean all. Whiskey in my baby bottle and I had to replete second grade due to my drinking. I just mention this to show how drinking was not a part of my life, it became my life. First walked into the doors of AA back in 1983. But I'm a slow learner and had to keep trying to control my drinking with the usual result. Sober today and grateful for it.

Reading Science fiction, History, Horror (I usually find most horror pretty funny, now history can be pretty scary).
Quiet and peaceful days with no chaos or drama. The seaside especially at night. Going to AA conventions and camp outs, always lots of fun.
And most of all being sober to enjoy the rest..
