Addiction

I have 2 kids 14 and 17, have been divorced for a year. Worked in mortgage banking for 20 years, then had the opportunity to stop working and stay home with kids. Now looking to go back to work in a different field. I started drinking and drugging at the age of 38-great idea-right. At 41 I was at my first rehab. The last 2 years have been a roller coaster of clean time, relapses, rehabs and major consequences. I'm feeling more confident that I have truly surrendered and working my program harder than ever. Finally get a taste for the fellowship of the 12 step programs. Its a wonderful thing. The amount of love and caring that goes on is like nothing I have ever experienced in my life until now.

Friendly, funny, fun people. Spending quality time with my kids. Would like to work in the recovery field. Running, reading,eating and anything that has to with the sun,beach, ocean, rivers or lakes.

People that always see the glass half empty. For the most part the program is teaching me to be a pretty tolerate person.
