Addiction

I used until I was stopped by the wonderful friends and protectors one last time. I landed in the big house and they took me to the crazy house. I told the Dr. at the crazy house I didn't need to be there and I wanted to go to the a/d side of the crazy house...they finally allowed me to break on through to the other side. I met my family in that facility because they introduced me to NA/AA...and that is when life began for me. I was told that I NEVER had to USE AGAIN one day at a time and I held onto that forever!!
I love to work the steps and have work them ON PAPER many times...I sponsor and that is so rewarding...I have a sponsor and love her...Because of this program I have been able to acheive ALL goals I set for myself in 1990 when I got clean. I have a several college degrees, I am a licensed professional counselor, I have a great career, a wonderful home, a harley, a lincoln, peace and serenity, love, great relations with my family, and life long friends from my recovery group...I am a ARP(as my long gone friend Freddie M) would say acceptable responsible productive member of society.....i love real people and not fake..i share my experience strength and hope and talk about me not to anyone........

I love riding my harley, running although i am not aloud at this point to run, so i will be grateful to walk, i love keith urban and the incredible energy of his music and concerts. i love MUSIC. I think it is the MOST healing force in this world and God works through some of it.
