Just stopped by to thank you for the add.

Wow, Stranger in a Strange Land...it's been a while since I let myself go there. Great book & great title. I remember writing a short story in junior high that was a fictional autobiography in which I was an alien baby left on earth with my family to observe.

Hey Dragonfly, how are you? Just thought I would say hi as I am also a new member with only two weeks of sobriety under my belt. The only piece of advice I have is make a decision. If you want to give up start planning, let everyone who can help you know that you are not drinking, then get on with it. IT WILL BE TOUGH! If you can't face it yet, don't beat yourself up into a mad guilt trip. Just work out what its going to take before you can make the decision to stop. This may take some time, don't worry! You will make it if sobriety is what you really want and i guess all good Buddhists should :) Hope you get your dream, take care...
