Hi Cassandra

First and foremost Oh beautiful Bright Star , Thank you for gracing my page. Second I read your story above and perhaps we came from the same family ? I remember one particuler Thanksgiving where the entire Thanksgiving meal turkey, trimmings mashed potatoes, ALL of it ended up on the floor.

I carried a lot of anger for years and of course like we all do , turned it inward.

Alcoholism, drug abuse, smoking ciggerettes overeating you name it, as you well know is a continuance of what we know best, and that is to inflict pain upon ourselves.

I think my daughter Carley was three and there came that moment where it all came down the entire mountain of pain...

I had hit my bottom.

I learned something in my time of sobriety and that is the major obstacle to my recovery was the hardest thing for me to grasp and accept.

Forgiveness.

I have a video production Company and part of what I do is make Videos for us.

This one is called "Broken Wing"

Love Stan

hey casandra , thanks for you comment on my page. Just read ur story, its a sad one, i went through 17 years of physical and emotional violence from my wonderful 'father'(the prick doesnt deserve that title) so i related to u in alot of ways. Youv come out the other side and are probably a bettter person for it, going through all the things us addicts etc go through really opens ur eyes to the world, changes your sight..well thats what i believe anyway!! (my 2 cents hahah) Thats what i write alot of my poems on my page about, before i would hav been2 paranoid thinking people would be like 'thats sh*t,why is she posting that' but now i think 'well its how i feel so its goin up there...like it or dont' haha, keep in touch ok xxx
