Addiction

Born in Toronto and now living outside Atlanta. In marital transition with a return to single status not out of the question. My first use at 6 with codeine and whisky. I'm a retread in program. Got clean in 85 and had 6 years of highly productive sobriety followed by 14 years of sodryety. Spent 06 actively adding chapters to my story. I got clean 3/4/07. Wife left 2 months ago as my chapters added became visible. God gave me 11 months of sobriety before the bottom. My bottom has been a gift from God as miracles have come. Now I breath, eat and sleep the program. God and spiritual growth have filled the void. Three wonderful kids and a cat named Phantom.
Somebody asked me what wdstckdr is all about. I have used that since 1994 when I was working the Woodstock music festival. Short for Woodstock Doc. Had the opportunity to be Psychiatric Director for the 94 and 99 events. Sad that the last one kinda ended the trip.
